Creative Challenge Days

Creative Challenge Days is an event organized by the Academy of Commerce. Here, students form small teams and work on comprehensive projects. Choice of topics is not predetermined, but you have the choice. However, it should be noted that the developed project must correspond to a subject in school. 

With the help of this event you can learn in the field:

• independent learning
• Creativity in dealing with digital media
• Problem solving
• Ability to work in a team

You get one week and at the end the results are first presented to other classes and then to the parents. It takes place annually at the 3rd and 4th grades of the Handelsakademie Digital Business in Vienna 10.

What have I developed with my team?

Natürlich haben ich und mein Team sehr viel vorgenommen. Unser Ziel war ein Softwareprogramm zu entwickeln, dass die Passwörter managen sollte. Wir entwickelten eine Benutzerfreundliche Oberfläche mit dem man ganz einfach Passwörter eintragen und sie verschlüsseln konnte. Dazu bereitete ich auch eine Website vor, mit dem man das Projekt herunterladen konnte

My role in the team!

Everyone had a role in the team. We had shared tasks to work more efficiently. When it came to me, I was responsible for developing the project's website. Together we discussed who was the best fit for which area, so we had a clear decision. Of course, there were moments when we helped each other. That's when we understood the purpose of this event.

What new things did we learn in the process?

Da wir das meiste schon konnten, wollten wir uns bisschen fordern. Daher haben wir die Verschlüsselung der Passwörter eingeführt. Und ich habe bei der Website begonnen JavaScript zu verwenden. Natürlich nachdem ich genau verstanden habe, was jede einzelne Zeile macht. Für uns war der beste Moment, nachdem wir gewusst haben, dass alles einwandfrei funktioniert. Da wussten wir, dass wir etwas geschafft haben!
